About Manager Best Practices Series

In this video series, HPN’s Client Engagement Specialist, Maureen Mahoney breaks down the HPN University in short digestible videos. Each video highlights one or two tools on the University and explains the functionality behind it. This series will also show you how you can easily incorporate each tool into your existing training or if you are building a brand new training program for your organization or agency. At the end of this course, you will be able to maximize your HPN University subscription by utilizing all or some of these popular tools.

The purpose of this tool is to provide managers and leadership team members with quick tips and tools for maximizing the HPN University for training and coaching purposes. In the next 12 weeks, we will send you weekly videos featuring how to utilize various training and coaching tools as well as best practices. This will help you develop a framework of how you can utilize the HPN University in your day to day.

Enrolling Yourself & Others in Content

Enrolling advisors and managers in content is an essential way to get content in front of them and keep them engaged. It helps new advisors develop critical skills and learn best practices from top producers and subject matter experts, and experienced advisors who are looking for new ideas or strategies to help polish their craft. In this episode, we’ll show you how to enroll yourself and others in courses within the HPN University and how to keep your advisors accountable for their assignments.

Utilizing Skills Assessments

Many field leaders love our Skills Assessment tool because they have a direct impact on behavior change and provide the advisor with immediate, practical best practices they can apply to their business. In this episode, we’re going to focus on how you can utilize these assessments with advisors you’re coaching to increase productivity. Based on best practices of top advisors in the industry, these one-page PDF documents feature 20 best practices around prospecting, listening, fact finding, and closing.

Incorporating the Buddy System in Your Training

The HPN Buddy System is consistently the number one most viewed resource on the University. It contains two tools to help your advisors, Phone Buddy, and Prospecting Buddy, especially those who are struggling with making their dials, booking appointments, and handling objections. In this episode, we’ll share how to access this tool and best practices on how to use it.
