Welcome to this week’s Virtual Coach for Field Leaders! The purpose of this tool is to provide you with practical ideas and best practices on how to fully maximize the HPN University with your producers. This week we want to focus on how you can leverage the Leadership Huddle as a turn-key approach to leadership development that provides you with on demand resources to sharpen the skills of your front-line managers.

In an earlier video, we showed you how you can utilize the Leadership section of the HPN University to assign brief 4-8-minute leadership topics to your leadership team. Today, we want to show you how you can take this a step further to enhance your leadership development programming within your organization.

In the Leadership section of the HPN University you’ll find the Leadership Huddle Curriculum tab. Within this tab, you will see that we provide you with a classroom training curriculum designed specifically for leadership development providing you with solid content from some of the top leadership in the industry. This curriculum is features content on Recruiting, Selection, Training, Coaching and Leadership Development. Each module within the curriculum features a video that’s approximately 10-15 minutes in length – which means the video is going to do most of the heavy work for you. Each video comes with a facilitator guide that require little to no preparation time on your part. These guides contain debrief questions and one or two group activities. So between the video and the debrief questions and group activities, you now have 45 minutes to an hour’s worth of leadership development content on demand.

These 24 modules are set up in the following order: Recruiting and Selection, Coaching and Accountability and Leadership Development.  An HPN University best practice is during a quarterly leadership team meeting, you can easily leverage three modules to ensure a well-rounded curriculum.

So I’m not sure what you’re currently doing to sharpen the skills of the front-line leaders in your organization, but the HPN Leadership Huddle is a great resource to expose your leadership team to the best of the best. We find there are not a lot of high-quality leadership development resources in the industry, but now you have access to the Leadership Huddle as an added bonus to your HPN University subscription.

We want to know what you’re doing in your day-to-day. Tag us on social media with the hashtag #HPNLife and share how you’re utilizing your HPN University subscription!

Good luck and see you next time!
